With our turnkey approach, at E & C Chemicals we are capable of managing the inventory needs of companies that use a high volume of liquid chemical blends. After we mix the product according to each client’s custom specifications, we ship it directly to their facilities in a prompt, just-in-time manner to replenish their on-site stock.
The pulp and paper industry is very water-intensive. Since water is used in almost every step of the manufacturing process, paper mills generate large amounts of wastewater. To meet EPA regulations and other federal, state, and local compliance standards, paper mill operators, install large wastewater treatment systems to ensure discharge water poses no risk to public health or the environment.
Wastewater treatment is a complex, multi-step process that involves mechanical processing, biologic treatments, and filtration. One of our clients in the paper industry uses various blends of phosphoric acid as part of their biologic treatments to neutralize the wastewater and restore the pH balance. We keep phosphoric acid on hand in concentrations of 85%, 75%, and 35%, so we can easily keep pace with their weekly requirements that include blending various formulations in quantities of 5,000 gallons.
This client’s proprietary blends include several uncommon ingredients. We leveraged our good relationships with our raw materials suppliers to source these ingredients reliably and at a fair price. This allowed us to keep within the client’s budget restrictions. We also provide delivery via our fleet of tanker trucks, directly to the customer’s facility.
